We know that extreme sports, whether surfing, snowboarding, skatboarding, bmx, etc. are all lifestyle sports that in turn are unique and influential subcultures.
We observe that extreme sports have benete one of the world youth culture icons and as a result, are a powerful medium to connect with this generation.
We see the local church struggling to connect with these subcultures just as these subcultures struggle to connect with the local church in its traditional structures and style. We will be advocates of both these worlds in the gospel.
We believe that Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners, and many extreme sports are the most extreme of sinners! We believe God seeks out lost people and we want to be his ambassadors to the extreme sports cultures of the world.
Since the beginnings of extreme sports there have been pioneering christians who have taken an extreme step into these cultures. Most have been lone forgotten individuals. Some have formed intentional missions. Today there is a booming desire to connect these radical sports with radical missions led by radical disciples of jesus christ to want to make an impact in this world.
